BBT charting cannot predict your fertile days

By the time the temperature rises, ovulation has already happened. BBT confirms; it does not forecast.

Basal body temperature rises about 0.3°C after ovulation, under the influence of progesterone. By the time you can see the rise, ovulation is over and the fertile window has closed. It confirms; it does not forecast — though as confirmation it is genuinely useful.

What you can do now

Use LH tests or cervical mucus to predict, and BBT to confirm. Different tools for different jobs.
