The first months of trying are the most fertile
50% by three months, 80% by six — but only 10 more points between six and twelve. Month six is the decision point.
When ovulation is tracked and intercourse timed, 38% conceive in the first cycle, 68% by three, 81% by six and 92% by twelve. What matters is how the curve flattens after six: of the couples still not pregnant at that point, about half have an underlying reason.
